E-Corps KAGernet Project
The Klingon Assault Group has 240 "elements" listed in its database, including 7 Fleets, 12 Quadrants and 209 Ships. Of all the KAG elements listed, 60 have live web sites (25%). At least 17 used to have web sites (8%) but do not have web sites any longer.
The E-Corps Commander has contacted KAG Division, Department and Fleet Commanders concerning the KAGernet project. Stage one, the collection of Ship names, is complete with only a few exceptions. Stage Two will be collecting E-Corps officers (or Cyberspace Propagandists) for those elements to take responsibility for developing and maintaining Division, Department and Fleet web sites.
The E-Corps Commander will be developing a packet that will make it easier for webmasters to build and post their web sites. This packet will include generic web site templates and step-by-step instructions for editing and placing these pages on the web. The E-Corps Commander will also be touring free web space providers and building sites on each of them to prepare recommendations for those wishing to use these services for their own web sites.

The KAGernet template project has been handed off to Sqo'tty and should be available shortly after the beta testing is completed. The E-Corps web site has been developed using the initial prototype for the KAGernet template.
The template consists of several files that include HTML files to get you started, a master HTML template file, and a Cascading Style Sheet, which is used to customize the presentation of the content. The two parts work together as a whole, with the HTML file being copied into multiple files to contain the various pages that will make up your web site.
